Oba Femi has issued another open challenge after a big win on NXT.
On the August 13 episode of NXT, Otis answered Oba Femi’s North American Championship open challenge. The match was teased on Monday Night Raw, as Oba Femi confronted the Alpha Academy member before his match.
Oba Femi won the match between the two behemoths. He pinned Otis after reversing the corner ten punches into a walking sit-out powerbomb. The powerhouse retained his championship before he threw down the gauntlet for another open challenge.
Oba Femi then cut a promo on the WWE NXT Instagram account following his win over Otis on NXT. He noted that Otis “couldn’t get the job done” in their match. The NXT star also issued an open challenge to anyone on the WWE main roster or the NXT roster. However, he added that if Otis couldn’t beat him, he doubted that anybody could.
“Another successful title defense,” he said. “With all due respect to Otis, he couldn’t get the job done tonight. And I challenge anyone from NXT or anyone on the main roster to come here and give me a challenge. Because if Otis couldn’t do it, I don’t think anyone can.”

Oba Femi: NXT Stand & Deliver Match Was A ’10 Star’ Match
Oba Femi thinks his match against Josh Briggs and Dijak at NXT Stand and Deliver was a “10 star match”.
He spoke to The A Show on RNC RADIO about his triple threat title defence on WrestleMania weekend. The NXT North American Champion claimed it was a 10-star match, before christening himself “Oba Meltzer” for his observation.
“Personally, I think that’s a 10-star match. Let me tell you why. Going into that one, there wasn’t much build-up or history or anything like that. Just intrinsically, on its own, it was a standalone good match. Now, can you imagine if we had seven, eight, nine weeks to tell a good story? That’s why I strongly believe that it’s a 10-star match. It didn’t have any backbone or hind legs to stand on. Just on its own, it was a very, very good match. Oba Meltzer is here!”
