Roberto de Zerbi spoke about the latest arbitration controversies that touched OM.
OM shouts in scandal. After his defeat against Auxerre (0-3), last Saturday in Ligue 1, the Marseille club denounced, through its president, “Corruption” compared to arbitration. Words that earned Pablo Longoria a suspension of 15 matches by the LFP disciplinary committee. This Friday, it's around Roberto de Zerbi to say “One last time” On the referees.
Present at a press conference before the Om-Nantes match, the coach returned to arbitral errors during the defeat against AJA. “Everything I said after the match, I confirm it. I believe in the good faith of referees. But in my opinion, the arbitration was not serene, there were brilliant errors. We have not lost because of him but his role was decisive ”he said.
“They have penalized us several times”
The Italian also said that he no longer wanted to express himself on the arbitration, until the end of his adventure on the Canebière. “OM will be the last team I will train in France. I always say what I think, with respect. If you have to say things being submitted, it does not belong to me. I will no longer talk about referees until the end of my visit here. I believe in the good faith of referees but they have penalized us several times ”he regrets.
The 45 -year -old technician also asked his players to no longer challenge the decisions of the referees. “I talked about it with my players on Tuesday. I told them not to talk about arbitration and not to make the Var gesture anymore. We have a very important goal, which is to bring OM back to the Champions League. Nothing has to keep us away from this goal. Now is not the time to speak or think of the referees ”. It remains to be seen if RDZ and his men hold this resolution against the Canaries on Sunday.
