Barcelona will be eager to bounce back to winning ways in La Liga and protect their position as league leaders when they take on Atletico Madrid tonight in Montjuic.
Ahead of the contest against Diego Simeone’s men, Barça head coach Hansi Flick has released the starting lineup that will be taking the field at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys.
The German tactician has made a huge change, opting to bench Dani Olmo from the starting XI, with Gavi replacing him as the attacking midfielder.
Pedri and Marc Casado are retained as the two pivot midfielder for Barcelona.
Meanwhile, Fermin Lopez has been chosen to step into the starting lineup in place of the injured Lamine Yamal. He is likely to operate as a false-winger on the left with Raphinha moving to the right.
Robert Lewandowski leads the attack as the centre-forward while the defensive unit of Inaki Pena, Jules Kounde, Pau Cubarsi, Inigo Martinez, and Alejandro Balde remains unchanged.
