Official: Barcelona announce starting lineup against Real Sociedad

Barcelona are back in action in La Liga after their defeat against Girona last weekend with another chance to cement second place in the league. They will take on Real Sociedad tonight at the Saint Montjuic Stadium.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen continues between the posts hoping to lift the Zamorra Trophy at the end of the season, while being guarded by a back-four with Inigo Martinez and Pau Cubarsi in central defence.

Jules Kounde takes charge of the right-back position, while Joao Cancelo retains his place as the left-back.

With Frenkie de Jong out, Xavi has given another nod to Andreas Christensen to start as the holding midfielder, while Pedri comes into the XI alongside Ilkay Gunodgan as the interior midfielders.

There is one change in attack from the loss against Girona, as Raphinha returns to the left-wing over Fermin Lopez, partnering Lamine Yamal, who starts on the right side of the trident, flanking Robert Lewandowski.
