After there being some mystery surrounding his registration, FC Barcelona have finally registered summer signing Pau Victor with La Liga ahead of tomorrow’s clash against Valencia.

The 22-year-old striker joined Barcelona from Girona earlier this summer in a deal worth close to €3 million. He was the breakout star of the pre-season, finishing with three goals and impressing manager Hansi Flick.

So much so that, Barcelona decided to keep him at the club even though there were plans before to either loan him out or sell him for a profit.

Pau Victor appeared to have been registered with La Liga about an hour ago only for his details to mysteriously disappear from the league’s official website – from both the completed transfers and the Barça squad page.

However, the 22-year-old’s name is back up now, ascertaining his registration in time for Barcelona’s La Liga opener against Valencia tomorrow.

It is expected that the young striker will be taking the No. 18 shirt – the one that he wore in the Joan Gamper Trophy clash against AS Monaco this past Monday.

With Victor’s registration now complete, along with that of Inigo Martinez, Pablo Torre, and Marc Casado, only Dani Olmo and Vitor Roque remain unregistered at this point.
