Official: Barcelona squad list to face PSG

With Barcelona set to take on PSG in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals at Parc des Princes on Wednesday, manager Xavi Hernandez has released the squad list of players who will be flying to Paris.

It will be a blockbuster affair at Parc des Princes tomorrow night as Xavi squares off against his former coach and mentor Luis Enrique.

All eyes had been on whether Xavi’s two midfield cogs, Frenkie de Jong and Pedri, would recover in time for the trip to Paris or not.

For now, both of Barcelona’s midfield superstars have been named in the squad, albeit without having received their medical discharges yet.

Andreas Christensen, meanwhile, is back in the squad as well, having recovered from his Achilles Tendon discomfort.

Youngsters Marc Guiu, Hector Fort, Marc Casado, Fermin Lopez, Pau Cubarsi, and Lamine Yamal are all on the squad list for the trip to Paris as well.

Interestingly, Barcelona have also confirmed that injured midfielder Gavi will be travelling with the squad to support the team.
