FC Barcelona are all set to take on UD Las Palmas on Matchday 25 of La Liga, hoping to consolidate their position at the top of the table.
Following Monday’s 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano, the Blaugrana are back on top, even though they are only ahead of Real Madrid due to a superior goal difference.
But with Los Blancos scheduled to play on Sunday afternoon, tomorrow’s game provides Barcelona an excellent chance to open up a lead at the top.
Ahead of the trip to Canary Islands, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has announced the squad list for the game.
Barcelona welcome Fermin Lopez back into the squad after he served his one-match ban for a red card he picked up against Sevilla.
As a consequence, though, Ansu Fati, who was in the squad against Rayo, has been left out by Flick.
Meanwhile, Andreas Christensen is still not ready to return even though he has trained with the group on a couple of occasions this week. Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Marc Bernal are both long-term injury absentees.
With the Copa del Rey semi-final against Atletico Madrid coming up next week, rotations can be expected from Flick.
