Official: Barcelona squad list to take on Atletico Madrid

Barcelona are looking to sign off for the international on a strong note as they take on Atletico Madrid this evening.

The Catalans are coming on the back of three wins in their last four matches, along with a win over Napoli that granted them a ticket to the quarterfinal stage of the Champions League.

As we approach the Atletico tie, Barcelona have dropped their final squad list for this crucial encounter.

Joao Cancelo is the biggest highlight, as the Portuguese international has been excluded from the squad due to ‘physical dimcomfort’.

On the flip side, fans are all set to welcome back Marcos Alonso, whose medical discharge coincided with the absence of Cancelo.

Ferran Torres, Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Gavi and Alejandro Balde remain on the sidelines due to their respective injuries.

Meanwhile, youngsters such as Hector Fort, Marc Casado and Diego Kochen are a part of the team and serve as alternatives for coach Xavi Hernandez.
