A spot in the semifinals of the 2024/25 Copa del Rey will be on the line when FC Barcelona take on Valencia in an hour at Mestalla.

With kickoff not far away, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has announced the starting lineup that will take the field for the Copa quarterfinals.

There are some changes made to the team that started at the weekend against Deportivo Alaves in La Liga, although Wojciech Szczesny retains his place in the lineup in goal.

Ferran Torres starts in attack against his former club on his return to Mestalla, with Robert Lewandowski being given a breather. He is partnered by Raphinha and Lamine Yamal in the frontline.

Meanwhile, there are a couple of tweaks in the middle of the park as Frenkie de Jong replaces Marc Casado in the double pivot alongside Pedri.

Fermin Lopez, who was the MVP in the 7-1 win over Valencia last month, also starts, coming in as a replacement for Gavi, who misses out due to concussion protocols.

Eric Garcia starts at the heart of the defence, pairing up with Pau Cubarsi, replacing Ronald Araujo in the lineup. Jules Kounde and Alejandro Balde continue as the two full-backs.
