Official: Barcelona starting XI to face Sevilla

Barcelona will look to capitalise on Real Madrid’s draw with Atletico Madrid as they take on Sevilla tonight.

With less than an hour remaining, Barça have officially announced their starting eleven, which will take on Los Nervionenses.

Coach Hansi Flick has made quite a few changes to the team that secured a resounding victory over Valencia in midweek, with many first-team regulars returning to the squad.

The offensive trifecta of Robert Lewandowski, Lamine Yamal and Raphinha will be tasked with the responsibility of breaching the Sevilla defence.

The biggest takeaway is the return of Gavi to the starting eleven. It appears the midfielder has returned to full fitness after a nasty collision in the Alaves game last weekend.

Even in midfield, Flick has decided to put his faith in Frenkie de Jong ahead of Marc Casado. The Dutchman has been in excellent form lately and it will be interesting to see whether or not he can produce the goods tonight.

In defence, Pau Cubarsi starts on the bench, with Inigo Martinez and Ronald Araujo forming the central defensive combination.
