Spain’s head coach, Luis de la Fuente, has revealed the latest squad for the UEFA Nations League clashes set to take place this November.

Spain will first face Denmark in Copenhagen on November 15, followed by a matchup against Switzerland in Tenerife on November 18.

Among the names announced, Barcelona’s Marc Casado stands out as he earns his first-ever call-up to the national team. This opportunity marks an important milestone for the midfielder, who has steadily worked his way into the limelight through his performances for Barcelona.

Another notable selection is Dani Olmo, the versatile Barcelona attacking midfielder. Olmo returns to the national team lineup after missing the previous squad due to injury.

His comeback is expected to bring an extra layer of creativity and attacking threat to Spain’s midfield. His form at Barcelona, combined with his international experience, makes him a valuable asset for de la Fuente’s plans.

Interestingly, the squad list does not include Gavi, Barcelona’s young star, who has just returned to action after a significant injury suffered while playing for Spain last year.

Although Gavi recently returned to action, the national team’s management appears cautious, likely allowing him time to regain his top form before making a return to international matches.

Among other prominent Barcelona players, Pedri and Lamine Yamal have secured their spots in the squad. Pedri’s consistent performances and Yamal’s impressive growth this season make them essential to Spain’s campaign.

Their inclusion adds to Barcelona’s representation in the Spanish national team, with four players in total expected to don the national jersey in these upcoming Nations League fixtures.
