Remo Stars head coach Daniel Ogunmodede has said he is “deeply honoured” to serve the country, reports Completesports.com.
Ogunmodede worked as one of the assistants to Super Eagles caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen in the Super Eagles 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Rwanda.
His Enugu Rangers counterpart Fidelis Ilechukwu also served as an assistant to the former international defender.
The Super Eagles claimed four points from the two fixtures.
The three-time African champions defeated neighbours Benin Republic 3-0 at home, while they were held to a 0-0 draw by the Amavubi of Rwanda.

Ogunmodede took to the social media to express his appreciation.
“I am Deeply Honored to Have Answered the Call to Serve Our Beloved Country ,” he wrote on X.
“Let’s Remain Positive and United in Our Pursuit of Success.
…Together, We Can Be Better.”
The young tactician will be in the dugout when Remo Stars take on Sunshine Stars in the outh West derby on Sunday.
