OL: Nicolás Tagliafico in Real Madrid’s sights

With a Ferland Mendy who does not convince over time and a Fran García considered too tender by Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid is actively looking for a new left back. While Alphonso Davies seemed very close to signing for the Merengues last summer, the Canadian ultimately stayed at Bayern Munich for one more year. It appears to be a long-standing prospect for the Madrilenians but if the deal does not come to fruition, the Spanish club has its back. In the list of full-backs likely to be candidates for departure during the next summer transfer window, Marca cites Nicolás Tagliafico.

If nothing indicates that the current European champion has inquired about the OL player, the Spanish media explains that two factors could attract the White House on the trail of the Argentinian. He will see his contract with Les Gones expire in June 2025, while the Rhone residents are lacking cash and are experiencing major economic difficulties. It now remains to be seen whether Florentino Pérez’s club will set their eyes on the 2022 World champion.
