The 2024 Coupe de France final between Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain was marked by clashes between supporters of the two teams. At the Fresnes tollbooth, a general fight even took place and forced the intervention of the CRS. The prefect of the North Bertrand Gaume took stock of the events at the microphone of BFM TV.

“At least eight police officers were injured and several tear gas grenades were fired. Order was restored very quickly despite smoke bombs fired by one of the teams against the opposing bus. The toll is important, because there was one bus set on fire and four were damaged and will have to be replaced to ensure the return of supporters of one of the two teams.explained the politician before the meeting.
