Old School? WWE Files Trademark For New Series

That’s a new one. There are all kinds of wrestling series every week, ranging from television to digital/online. While most of them are run of the mill wrestling shows, you will occasionally see something that is set up for a special purpose. Those can often make for some interesting shows and we might be seeing something similar again from WWE in the future.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Locked In: Wrestling Couple Gets Married Over The Weekend

According to Fightful, WWE has filed a trademark for the term “WWE Vault”, with the description of the trademark suggesting that it is a new wrestling series. There are currently no other details about the series, including the content or when/where it will air. WWE has yet to announce anything about the series on television or their social media channels.

Opinion: This is something that could make for quite the interesting series if it is WWE showcasing some of its lesser known content. WWE has been around for decades and has more footage than it could ever hope to release. Letting fans see it every so often is rather nice and I could go for seeing a good bit more of it, assuming that is even what the show is supposed to be.
