It’s official, Oliver Skipp is leaving Tottenham. Trained at Spurs, the young 23-year-old midfielder has signed with Leicester, recently promoted to the Premier League. The Welwyn Garden City native has signed a contract until June 2029 with his new club. Amount of the transaction? €23.5 million.
“During his time with us, Oliver has made 106 appearances in all competitions, reaching the century mark for the club in an FA Cup match against Manchester City in January 2024. He scored his only goal for us when he scored in a 2-0 win over Chelsea in February 2023. The 23-year-old has played for England up to Under-21 level to date and in 2023 he helped the Young Lions win the UEFA European Championship.
