Olivia Munn is sharing her very honest thoughts on Blue Origin‘s upcoming all-female flight expedition. Back in February, the rocket company, owned by Jeff Bezos, announced that it has assembled a crew including his fiancée Lauren Sanchez, Katy Perry, and Gayle King for a space flight that will take place on Monday, April 14. While guest co-hosting TODAY with Jenna & Friends, Olivia, 44, questioned why this flight is even happening in the first place. Keep reading to find out more…“What are they doing? Like, why?” Olivia during the discussion with Jenna Bush Hager. ”You know what I mean? I know this is probably not the cool thing to say, but there are so many other things that are so important in the world right now. What are you guys going to do up in space?” When Jenna noted that the women are expected to be in space for 11 minutes, Olivia quipped back, “So you’re on, like, Magic Mountain.” “And by the way, if you want to go to space, why do you need to tell us about it? You know?” Olivia continued. “Just go up there, have a good time, come on down. Also, I just think about — I know this is probably obnoxious but it’s so much money to go to space. There’s a lot of people who can’t even afford eggs. Oh my God, if they bring eggs into space!” Jenna then mentioned that the crew has said that they’re “all going in glam” for the flight, which Olivia took a big issue with. “What?” Olivia responded, while visibly confused. “They said this out loud? What’s the point? Is it historic that you guys are going on a ride? I think it’s a bit gluttonous. The cover of Elle magazine? I don’t know.” “Space exploration was to further our knowledge and to help mankind. What are they gonna do up there that has made it better for us down here?” Olivia then argued. “I mean, I don’t know if all that rocket fuel is good. This is a lot of resources being spent.”
