Olivia Rodrigo is opening up about her slip and fall. The “Good 4 u” singer-songwriter spoke out about the moment she fell through the stage during her GUTS World Tour in Melbourne, Australia. “It was really scary,” the 21-year-old said during an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Keep reading to find out more… “I mean watching the video back it’s pretty terrifying, but the show must go on, that’s show business baby.” Olivia said the fall was “a beautiful thing” after her brief trip to the hospital had something good come out of it. “I’m kinda happy it happened in hindsight,” she noted. “I had just been to the Philippines, and I was thinking about my family, my heritage and relatives and I fell. And I was all shaken up.” “I went to the hospital after—nothing happened they just wanted to make sure I didn’t have a concussion—and randomly the nurse was a Filipino man with the same name as my grandpa who just passed away a few months ago. So, I was like, ‘Wow that was him looking after me and making sure I didn’t get hurt.’ And so I was really happy it happened, I think it was beautiful,” she explained. Olivia was performing in Melbourne, Australia on October 14 and running across the stage when she fell into a hole left open in the middle of the stage. “Oh my God, that was fun,” she said sarcastically after, adding, “I’m okay!
