The French Olympic team lost to Spain (3-5) this Friday
on the Parc des Princes pitch. A victory snatched by Santiago Denia’s men, notably thanks to a double from Sergio Camello in extra time.

The Rayo Vallecano de Madrid striker, who came on in the second half to replace Abel Ruiz, did not hide his emotion at the end of the match. According to him, the Spanish coach had predicted that the Madrid player would find the back of the net in this final.

A double scorer against France and an assist in the victory against Egypt (2-1) in the group stage, the 23-year-old centre-forward was not present in the victories against Uzbekistan (1-2) and the Dominican Republic (1-3), nor in the quarter-final against Japan (3-0) and the semi-final against Morocco (1-2).
