Olympics-Themed ‘Sprint’ With Gabby Thomas, Noah Lyles Sets Season 2 Premiere Date

Netflix‘s Sprint docuseries has set November 13 for the premiere of its Olympics-themed second season.

Season 2 will follow Noah Lyles, Gabby Thomas and other elite athletes from the Olympic trials through the Paris 2024 Olympics as they strive for gold. Also featured are athletes Fred Kerley, Kishane Thompson, Julien Alfred, Letsile Tebogo, Melissa Jefferson, Twanisha Terry, Marcell Jacobs, Kenny Bednarek, Shericka Jackson, Oblique Seville, among others.

Following athletes from all over the world, this series delves deep into the psyches of those elite competitors who train to be the fastest person on the planet. Sprint takes an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the high stakes, and mental toughness of the sprinters who devote their entire lives to crossing the finish line in record time, where their professional futures are decided in just fractions of a second. 

Season 1 premiered on July 2 and explored top sprinters on the road and throughout the 2023 World Championships.

Sprint is produced by Box to Box Films (Full Swing, F1: Drive to Survive, Tour De France: Unchained) in association with World Athletics and the Olympic Channel. Paul Martin, James Gay-Rees and Warren Smith of Box to Box Films executive produce, with JT Taylor and Yiannis Exarchos of the Olympic Channel, and Jérôme Parmentier and David Herren of the IOC.
