OM have just welcomed their fourth recruit during this winter transfer window.

And one more reinforcement for Olympique de Marseille. The Marseille club has secured the services of a new striker. Cameroonian Faris Moumbagna arrived from the Norwegian club Bodo Glimt. He signed up for a period of four and a half years.

Gattuso’s OM have one more option in attack

Moumbagna will not be available to Gennaro Gattuso for a week at best. And for good reason ; he competes in the CAN with the Indomitable Lions. It was also in Ivory Coast that he had his medical examination.

Moumbagna comes to strengthen a sector which is at half mast. At the forefront, only Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is performing well this season. Vitinha, Sarr and Correa all disappoint regardless of the tactical options used by the coach.

In Marseille, Moumbagna will try to do better than the last two Cameroonians who passed through this club, in this case Clinton N’Jie and Olivier Ntcham. On its official website, OM did not fail to praise this element and specify that it has “great power and excellent speed of execution”.

Before Moumbagna, the Olympians had, as a reminder, welcomed Onana and Garcia into their squad. Luis Henrique also returned from a loan spell in Brazil.
