If theOlympique de Marseille Impressed on the green rectangle for a few weeks, the Marseille club is just as prolific behind the scenes. Pablo Longoria and Mehdi Benatia were on all fronts to strengthen the team during the last transfers.

Behind the snoring names like Adrien Rabiot, Mason Greenwood or Ismaël Bennacer, Olympique de Marseille can also rely on very efficient “second knives”, like Michael Murillo. Versatile and rather regular, the Panamanian international is a notable player in the Zerbi Roberto system.

Murillo's good yield should bear fruit since Provence believe, the defender should extend his contract with Olympique de Marseille. While his current lease expires in 2026, Murillo could stack for two additional seasons.
