OM failed to win against Shakhtar Donetsk this Thursday in Hamburg, in the first leg of the Europa League play-off (2-2).

Scorer on this occasion, and now co-top scorer in the competition with the Colombian Radamel Falcao (30 goals), Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang appeared quite annoyed at the end of the meeting.

First on RMC, the Gabonese striker did not mince his words: “ I’ll tell you sincerely: it’s starting to drive you crazy to make an effort, to be able to lead and concede goals behind. The whole team is at fault. Me first. I must be the first to defend like crazy, not wanting to concede goals, not wanting to lose balls. We have to hold on to this mentality to win matches! »

A little later in the mixed zone in front of the press, the person continued: “ It’s like a virus. To remove it, you have to have awareness. We must realize that what we are doing is not enough. You just have to get off your ass. Everyone is aware that we can do 10 times better. When we attack and we play our football, we know how to make the difference. (…) The best defense is attack. »
