Currently at Udinese after a complicated stint with the Tigres, Florian Thauvin (31) is finding color in Serie A. If he has already confided in his desire to return to Ligue 1 before the end of his career, the 2018 world champion returned to his departure from OM and attacked Jacques-Henri Eyraud, former Marseille manager. According to him, JHE mismanaged the end of his contract when he left Marseille free in 2021.

“The situation dragged on. It should have been better managed by Jacques-Henri Eyraud. We should have found a solution then, even if I think it was already way too late to find it. I had been free since January. I think the contractual issue should have been resolved well before. Not in January, but a year or two years ago. Should I have gone to a big club? Certainly. I think I deserved it”he explained to Eurosportspecifying that he still resented his former leaders.
