Transferred to Lazio Rome at the end of the summer transfer window, Samuel Gigot posted a beautiful farewell message to his favorite club on social media.

Having arrived in Marseille in January 2022 from Spartak Moscow, Samuel Gigot is no longer an OM player. The 30-year-old defender, who was not part of Roberto De Zerbi’s plans, was loaned this summer with a mandatory purchase option to Lazio Rome.

Gigot: “Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to realize my childhood dream”

This Thursday, the Avignon native posted a farewell message to the people of Marseille on his Instagram account. Just these little words to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to realize my childhood dream, to wear this jersey and represent the people of Marseille. Thanks again to all of you who make this unique club vibrate and always united as one man. Go OM »wrote Samuel Gigot.
