Olympique de Marseille welcomes FC Metz for the 21st day of Ligue 1, this Friday (9 p.m.). Here is the expected line-up for the Lorraine club.

Sixteenth in Ligue 1, FC Metz is completely at a standstill at the start of 2024. The Grenats remain on a worrying series of 8 consecutive losses in all competitions. Suffice it to say that the perilous trip to the Vélodrome does not come at the right time for László Bölöni’s training. The seasoned technician, however, intends to defy the odds by concocting a plan to trap the Marseillais.

Metz will appear with an almost complete group to face Olympique de Marseille. Bölöni will have to do without one element: Ablie Jallow, injured after his return from the Africa Cup of Nations. For the rest, the executives of the Metz group are expected at the start of this match.

FC Metz could thus start in a 4-3-3 animation. Mikautadze, a strong reinforcement returning during this winter transfer window, is expected at the forefront of the attack. Van Den Kerkhof and Lamkel Zé could support the Georgian international. The midfield could be made up of N’Doram, Jean-Jacques and Camara, in front of a central Traoré-Cande career. Colin and Udol are expected on the sides. Oukidja will hold his place in the goals.

The expected line-up for Metz : Oukidja – Colin, Traore, Cande, Udol – N’Doram, Jean-Jacques, Camara – Van Den Kerkhof, Mikautadze, Lamkel Zé.
