OM, PSG, OL, the latest transfer window movements in L1

The transfer window closed its doors this Friday at 11:00 p.m. on the Ligue 1 side. Here are the latest major movements to report.

Movements are still possible, even if Ligue 1 officially closed the doors of its 2024 summer transfer window this Friday at 11:00 p.m. While waiting for possible last-minute departures or arrivals, the editorial team offers you an update on the major transfers that occurred in the final moments of the transfer window for Paris Saint-Germain, Olympique de Marseille, Olympique Lyonnais or even AS Saint-Étienne, Lille and Lens.

Marseille

As for OM, Samuel Gigot was officially loaned to Lazio Rome, with an option to buy. Earlier in the day, Neal Maupey arrived in Marseille from Everton, again on loan with an option to buy. This summer, no fewer than eleven new players have joined the club. The only major move was the permanent transfer of Manuel Ugarte, sold for sixty million euros to Manchester United. Danilo Pereira, who is no longer in Luis Enrique’s plans, has not received a satisfactory offer for the moment. The same goes for Milan Skriniar.

Saint-Etienne

In Saint-Étienne, a midfielder was announced in the last minutes of the transfer window, in the person of Pierre Ekwah, a young twenty-two-year-old player loaned with an option to buy by Sunderland. The official arrival of the Belgian international hopeful striker, Lucas Stassin, was also announced in the evening.

Lyon

Finally, on the Lyon side, the arrival of Wilfried Zaha was confirmed a few minutes after the official closing of the transfer window. The player arrives from Galatasaray on a paying loan (three million euros) for the season. He arrives a few hours after Warmed Omari, the former Stade Rennais player. Sinaly Diomandé has signed with AJ Auxerre.
