WWE standout and former Raw Tag Team Champion Omos has broken his silence regarding his notable absence from television screens, having only competed in two televised matches over a span of nine months.

Making return at WWE Royal Rumble 2024, Omos entered the Men’s Rumble match, marking his first televised bout since SummerSlam 2023. Following his showdown against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39, often dubbed “The Nigerian Giant,” Omos was seen sporadically, making appearances only at two other premium live events throughout 2023.

During a media event surrounding the Royal Rumble, Omos engaged in conversation with Scott Fishman, reflecting on his memorable WrestleMania experiences. He fondly reminisced, stating, “To be honest, WrestleMania literally changed my life. I made my debut at WrestleMania… it holds a special place in my heart.”

Addressing his noticeable absence from WWE television programming, Omos offered insight into his role as an attraction within the company. He asserted, “You know, I’m an attraction, they call me when they need to make the big bucks… When they wanna see me on TV, man, cash those checks when you see me on TV.”

Despite his limited presence on televised platforms, Omos emphasized his continued activity within WWE through live event appearances, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to the sport and his role within the organization.

How do you interpret Omos’s perspective on his sporadic television appearances in WWE compared to his presence at live events? How do you think this approach impacts his role within the company and his career trajectory in professional wrestling? Let us know in the comments.
