Omos Reacts To Report About His WWE Status

Omos responds to the rumors.

Omos has not wrestled since the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 5th episode of WWE SmackDown. Before that, he had competed at WWE live events, and he otherwise had rarely appeared on WWE programming aside from the Royal Rumble match.

In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer wrote that Omos was booked at the live events to give him more experience. He later noted that WWE essentially gave up on the giant.

In a tweet, Omos seemingly reacted to the report. He wrote, “Journalism has turned into National Inquirer”, and he included a laughing emoji in the post.

Omos is a former RAW Tag Team Champion. He had been paired up with MVP, but the latter is reportedly set to depart WWE as his contract is up in August.
