On The Market? Update On Mustafa Ali’s Status

Farewell. While there are all kinds of talented wrestlers in both WWE and AEW, there are several impressive stars who are wrestling elsewhere. Some of these names are people who have wrestled for WWE in the past but are able to make themselves into something bigger in a different promotion. Now another one of those names is finishing up with his work in his new home.

Last week on Impact Wrestling, Mustafa Ali was defeated by Nic Nemeth in a match for Nemeth’s TNA World Title. According to Fightful Select, Ali has finished up with TNA Wrestling for the time being. There is no word on where he will sign net or if there is interest from either side with WWE or AEW. Ali was released from WWE in September 2023 and has since wrestled on the independent circuit.

Opinion: This is something that happens every so often and there is nothing wrong with it at all. Ali did well in TNA and got his name out there on a big enough stage. That might be enough to get him some interest from either WWE or AEW, assuming he wants to go to one of those promotions in the first place. What matters is that Ali is getting to do what he wants, which is a freedom several wrestlers do not have anywhere.
