Not there yet. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and some of them can be absolutely devastating. You never want to see a wrestler get hurt and unfortunately there is little that can be done to prevent an injury from taking place. Sometimes the simplest of things can cause the damage and that is the case in AEW. It is just going to be a bit longer before someone is able to return to the ring.

Adam Cole has been out of action since injuring his foot on September 20, 2023 at AEW Grand Slam. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Cole will be out of action for “a little” more time due to the complex nature of his injury. There is no word on when Cole will be able to return to action, though he is able to walk now. He has made occasional appearances on AEW TV, most recently at Double Or Nothing.

Cole has had a nice time in AEW. Check out some of his efforts there:

Opinion: The fact that we are coming up on a year of no Cole is insane to think about, as he was headlining the biggest show in the history of AEW less than a month before he got hurt. I’m not sure what is next for him when hre turns, but at least he seems to be ready to go sooner than later. If nothing else, it means he should be able to hit the ground running upon his return, which is quite nice to see after such a long absence.

What do you think of Cole? How should he be brought back to AEW TV? Let us know in the comments below.
