IMG Credit: All Elite WrestlingThey’re on it. Every so often, a wrestler might have to go away for a little bit, which can make for some notable absences. AEW’s Sammy Guevara has posted a message to Twitter, announcing that both he and his wife Tay Melo are training for their returns to the ring, though there was no date given for when that might happen. Guevara has been out of action since February due to a suspension, though the suspension has since been lifted. Melo has not wrestled since March 2023 due to maternity leave.
Just wanna say this mama right here is doing such a great job.
We are both training for our comebacks and I wish yall could see how much work she puts in. Some days are harder than others but she has been killing it, all while being a great mom and wife!

This could be big. Check out the two of them together and apart:
Opinion: It’s always nice to see a wrestler return from something as great as maternity leave as it means that not only did they get to do something special but they are also able to get back in the ring. As for Guevara, hopefully everything winds up going well, but it is pretty clear that something needs to change for him. Bad things have happened too many times now and that cannot happen again.
What do you think of the two? Are they better on their own or together in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
