The All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State as the Chairman of the Ondo State National Gubernatorial Campaign Council.
Naija News reports that this appointment was disclosed in a statement on Thursday night by Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, the National Organising Secretary of the ruling party.
It was gathered that the Campaign Council is made up of 306 members.
According to Argungu, the inauguration of the National Campaign Council would take place on the 28th of October, 2024.
He said the inauguration would kickstart around 12 pm at the International Event Centre (The Dome), Akure, Ondo State.
Other members of the Campaign Council include: Senate President Godswill Akpabio; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume; Minister of Budget, Atiku Bagudu; Edo State Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu; Senator Simon Bako Lalong; amongst others.
