#OndoDecides2024: APC Commends Aiyedatiwa’s Re-Election, Applauds Voters

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated Ondo State Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his victory in the recently concluded gubernatorial election.

Naija News reports that Governor Aiyedatiwa secured re-election with a total of 366,781 votes across all 18 local government areas of the state.

In a statement released on Sunday by APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the party described Aiyedatiwa’s win as evidence that his administration’s policies and campaign message resonated strongly with the electorate.

The APC also praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and the people of Ondo for their roles in ensuring a smooth election process.

The statement read, “The All Progressives Congress (APC) heartily congratulates the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on his re-election.

“Your Excellency’s resounding victory in the just-concluded Ondo State gubernatorial election is a clear attestation that your administration’s policies and programmes and campaign message of hope and consolidation have resonated deeply with the electorate.

“With this renewed mandate, we are confident that you will build upon your accomplishments, and take the state to even greater heights of social and economic development for the benefit of the good people of Ondo State.

“We commend the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the security agencies for their professionalism and patriotism in the discharge of their constitutional roles during the election.

“We thank the Ondo electorate for their sustained and highly valued support of our great Party.”

The declaration of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s victory was made by the State Returning Officer, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, at the State Collation Centre in Akure.
