One More Run? Former WWE Superstar Reportedly Has “The Itch” To Return To The Ring After Hiatus

She wants back? Retirement is a tricky concept in wrestling, as you never know when someone is going to walk away from the ring for good. While wrestlers might say that they are done, there is always the chance that they will return to the ring later on. Now there is a chance that a former WE Superstar is interested in stepping back in to the ring after a pretty lengthy absence.

During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, NXT’s Shawn Spears revealed that his wife, Cassie Lee, formerly known as Peyton Royce in WWE, has a bit of an “itch” to return to wrestling. Spears did make it clear that there was no deal in place to return to the ring when she is ready or anything similar. This comes as Lee gave birth to the couple’s second son earlier this June. She has not wrestled since October 2023.

Opinion: This isn’t a bad idea and I’m curious to see if it ever goes anywhere. Lee was a talented star during her day and she is more than young enough to return to the ring and have a long career if she wants to. I’m sure there are multiple promotions who would be more than willing to bring her in, so there is a good chance that we will see her again if that is what she wants to do.
