Things are moving in this summer transfer window. Several European clubs are placing their pawns to attract the best players on the continent. This is the case of Atlético de Madrid, which is close to completing the signing of one of the best defenders of Euro 2024.

According to information from the Italian journalist Fabrizio Romanothe Colchoneros will offer themselves the defender of Spain Robin Le Normand. Currently at Euro 2024 with the Roja, the player of Real Sociedad is having a solid and promising tournament.

He has also qualified for the quarter-finals of the competition with La Roja. He will return to Germany on Friday evening.

Having performed well this season in the colours of Real Sociedad, where he has established himself as one of the pillars of the Basque club’s defence, Robin Le Normand should move up a gear next season by joining Atletico Madrid if the transfer goes through.

The deal between the two Spanish teams should be worth 30 million euros. A very affordable sum for a player of this level with a fairly interesting margin for improvement. He would strengthen a sector of play already quite well-stocked with players like Axel Witsel, Jose Maria Gimenez and Cesar Azpilicueta.
