Chile! One thing folks should know about Ms. Tina Knowles is that she doesn’t play about her family. Late Wednesday (March 19), she shared a short but spicy message about any weapon formed against her loved ones. Her post came hours after Ye, formerly Kanye West, went viral for sharing a “disgusting” tweet about her grandchildren, Rumi and Sir Carter. The twins are Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s youngest of three kids, including big sister Blue Ivy.

Tina Knowles Stands Up For Her Family With “Corny Joke”
As mentioned, Knowles took to Instagram with a lil’ on-camera action for her 4.1 million followers on Wednesday. In a video, she explained that she was on set for a photoshoot concerning her book. Inspired by her glam hair and makeup, Beyoncé and Solange’s mother said she had the urge to crack a jokey joke.
“What happens when a snowman throws a tantrum,” Tina Knowles asked. “He has a meltdown,” she answered with a small laugh, adding “Y’all know that’s funny.”
And if the joke itself seemed like shade, Tina took things a step further with the caption. Using red heart and praying hand emojis, she wrote, “Corny joke, time! It’s hard to remain positive and classy in the face of ignorance and evil. But I know that no weapon formed against me or my family shall prosper. This battle is not mine, but the Lord’s, I know that God has got this.”
Recap Of What Ye Said About Beyoncé & Jay-Z’s Twins
Since their pregnancy with Blue Ivy over a decade ago, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have tried to keep their family life out of the public eye. Blue, who is now 13, has slowly stepped into the spotlight in recent years. We’re talking red carpet appearances, movie roles, and even big stage performances with her mother. However, the married couple’s seven-year-old twins, Rumi and Sir, are still rarely seen in public.

During one of Ye’s X (formerly Twitter) rants on Wednesday, he questioned the Carter twins’ limited public appearances. However, his line of questioning was more of an unproven accusation about the twins’ mental capabilities. Social media users were HEATED at how the former Kanye West came for the minor children unprovoked, describing them as “retarded.” He later removed the post but admitted he only did so under threat of losing his X account access. Beyoncé and Jay-Z have yet to respond to what supporters like actress-singer Holly Robinson Peete called a “disgusting tweet.”
