Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois attacked Belgium coach Domenico Tedesco.

The Red Devils continue their preparation for Euro 2024 with two friendlies this month against the Republic of Ireland and England. Tedesco has named his squad for both matches, with Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne the main absentee due to injury.

Courtois returned to training at Real Madrid, after eight months off following knee surgery, and was not selected for selection.

“Liar, Pinocchio!” »

The two have had a strained relationship since Tedesco took charge of the team at the start of 2023, with Courtois claiming he lied about a captaincy dispute.

Courtois is expected to play a role for Los Blancos before the end of the campaign, but said at the end of 2024 the European Championships would come too soon for him.

Tedesco has since claimed he “tried everything” to bring Courtois in for Euro 2024, to which the veteran goalkeeper responded with a few Pinocchio/liar emojis, as the feud continues.
