What do you predict with the final 2024/25 Premier League table?
Heading towards the end of November.
Interrupted by already the third international fortnight of the season.
Where do see Newcastle United fitting in?
This is how the current Premier League table looks after the opening twelve rounds of PL matches (with the exception of Newcastle v West Ham to come tonight):
When it comes to predicting what that final Premier League table will look like after the 38th round of fixtures in May 2025, Opta have done some analysis.
Using their latest data simulations, Opta analysis has shown this as the most likely 2024/25 Premier League table come the end of the season:
As you can see above, Opta giving a range of probabilities for each club.
So when it comes to Newcastle United, Opta believe:
NUFC most likely to finish sixth this season
NUFC to end up with 62 points
A 0.09% chance of winning the title
A 17.67% chance of finishing top four
A 19.41% chance of ending up in a Europa League qualifying position
A 0.00% chance of getting relegated
Of course, if Newcastle win at home to West Ham and away at Palace next weekend, it will be interesting to then see what the Opta season-end predictions will be.
