Orange Cassidy isn’t sure what to expect from this version of Jon Moxley at AEW Full Gear.
All Elite Wrestling‘s Orange Cassidy was a recent guest on the Battleground Podcast. When asked about Jon Moxley trying to overtake the company right now and how it feels different than other invasion storylines in the past, Cassidy said because it’s real and violent.
“I mean, I think it’s because it’s real and it’s violent,” Orange Cassidy said. “We are talking about — and I tried to explain this Wednesday to a lot of the fans who aren’t familiar with different types of things like that, but Jon Moxley is dangerous. They are ending careers. It’s not like, ‘Oh, this person’s gonna be on the shelf.’ They’re ending careers. They will end your career. And I don’t know what he will do next and what they will do next.
Orange Cassidy and Jon Moxley have the same in-ring mentality
“And I take a lot of pride in being the person that no one knows what I do. Like when I go into a wrestling match, I like to maybe do the opposite. That’s the games I play to get the advantage. Jon Moxley is the only other person that I’ve ever wrestled with or ever been in the ring with, that has the same mentality. And after wrestling him twice, I thought I had a pretty good grasp on it, but now I don’t know what he’s going to do, or what will happen next, or when he’ll show up too.
“And that is the thing I think about a lot when other things, like other angles, people like, oh, we’re coming, we’re taking it over. Like, he’s not just talking about it, he’s acting upon it. And that’s dangerous.”
