Bronson Reed didn’t compete in Australia at WWE Elimination Chamber, but it all worked out for him in the end.
Earlier this morning, Bronson Reed took to social media to reveal that his wife gave birth to their child early, and not being on this premium live event allowed him to be home for this important moment. But if an injury hadn’t taken place, Reed might not have been home to experience this.
According to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp (via Fightful Select), Reed was initially scheduled to face Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at the premium live event before Rollins went down with a knee injury.
Sapp states that Reed was still more than willing to work the show if needed. But being off Elimination Chamber worked out for his family in the end.
With Rollins almost being cleared, it’s unknown if Reed will still get a title shot between now and WrestleMania.
