Oshoala: I’ll Be Glad To See An African Country Host Olympic Games

Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala says it will be a ground-breaking event if an African country is handed the right to host the Olympic Games.

Oshoala didn’t feature in the team’s opening game against Brazil, a game Nigeria lost 1-0 on Thursday.

However, the former Barcelona star, via her official X handle, former Twitter, noted that the best of African culture will be on display on that fateful day.

“I would love to see the Olympic Games happen on African soil someday. The opening ceremony will be brutal. 

“Our culture is truly beautiful.” On X (formerly Twitter), she expressed her hope.”
