Paris Saint-Germain, who are looking to fill the void left by the departure of Kylian Mbappé, have still not found a solution to recruit Victor Osimhen (Napoli).
PSG have been looking for a new signing since the start of the summer, and the club have set their sights on Napoli duo Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
If the Parisians have abandoned hope of recruiting the Georgian, they are still on the trail of the Nigerian, even if the discussions have cooled down.
Osimhen to replace Mbappé?
According to L’Equipe, the Ligue 1 team will have to sell Goncalo Ramos or Randal Kolo-Muani before signing the Napoli ace. However, neither forward is ready to accept a move away from the Parc des Princes, and negotiations for Osimhen’s transfer are therefore at a standstill.
Osimhen is not thought to continue at Napoli, where Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku is a target, but if PSG do nothing for too long they could lose him as the Blues and some Saudi clubs are also interested in his services. The Nigerian has not joined his Napoli team-mates for pre-season, with training already underway. He is likely to continue to push for a move away.
