Former Ogun State Governor, Aremo Osoba and Nigerians in Diaspora Commission’s Chairperson, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, have applauded Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited for its eco-friendly estate in Ogun State.

According to a statement, the former governor was honoured at the official unveiling ceremony of the first set of the estate’s homes at the Masa-Kobape corridor with the longest estate road named after him.

Osoba, who was represented by Adekunle Adeyemo, praised the real estate firm’s CEO, Babatunde Adeyemo, for blending modern architecture with nature and expressed optimism that the estate would soon evolve into an iconic architectural city in Ogun State.

The road, named Aremo Olusegun Osoba Drive, recognised the former governor’s efforts in rural electrification, which, according to Pelican Valley, laid the groundwork for the firm’s projects, the firm stated.

In addition to Osoba’s tribute, the estate’s recreation arena was named after T.I. Bello, honouring his contributions to Adeyemo’s family.

The NIDCOM chairperson, represented by Mr Dipo Odebowale, hailed the estate’s eco-friendly homes.

According to the NIDCOM boss, the commission was ready to partner with Pelican Valley to show its real estate offerings to Nigerians in the diaspora.

The Aboro of Ibese, Oba Rotimi Mulero, urged Adeyemo to consider expanding the firm’s projects to Ibese, leveraging the area’s industrial potential.

Adeyemo stated Pelican Valley’s mission to address climate change through eco-friendly technology and sustainable materials, as he commended the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, for creating a conducive business environment.

He appealed for government intervention in road construction around the estate, which he said could generate significant revenue and reduce congestion in Abeokuta.
