Otis said enough is enough.
For weeks, Otis, Maxxine Dupri, and Akira Tozawa have been berated by Chad Gable and mistreated by him time and again. Otis has repeatedly teased defying Gable, but he has remained loyal to his Alpha Academy coach, even as the mistreatment has become increasingly clear.
The situation nearly erupted when Gable accidentally knocked Dupri down during his match against Sami Zayn at WWE Clash at the Castle, as Otis helped Dupri up and walked out on Gable. Then, on the June 17 episode of WWE RAW, it all came to a head. After Gable lost to Braun Strowman, he called his students into the ring.
Gable took Dupri’s crutch and threw it. He then slapped Gable. Otis finally had enough, as he shoved Gable down. Instead of attacking him more, Otis walked away with Dupri and Tozawa, seemingly leaving Gable in the process.
