An agent is demanding €10 million from FC Barcelona for his role in the transfer of Ousmane Dembélé to PSG, according to The Athletic. The case is currently pending before a Barcelona court.
The transfer of Ousmane Dembélé to PSG in 2023, for an amount of 50 million euros, is today the subject of a legal dispute. According to a report revealed by The Athletican agent from the Scores Sports Management agency is demanding 10 million euros from FC Barcelona, claiming to have played a key role in the transaction. The matter, revealed in an internal club document, is currently being heard in a Barcelona court, with Barca having disputed the claim.
A transfer under high voltage
The departure of Dembélé to PSG had already caused tensions within the Catalan club. During the transaction, the player recovered 25 million euros, or half the sum, according to an agreement reached during his contract extension. Barça now finds itself with an additional dispute to manage, in an already tense context with several other financial disputes.
