Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe step out for 2024 New York Comic Con on Thursday (October 17) in New York City. The Outlander stars were in attendance to chat up the upcoming second half of season seven, and they even debuted the trailer for the new episodes. Also in attendance at Comic Con were their co-stars John Bell, Maril Davis, Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin, as well as author Diana Gabaldon, who wrote the books the show is based on. Keep reading to find out more… The day before, the Outlander cast helped kick off 2024 PaleyFest New York with a 10th anniversary celebration for their show, sharing a sneak peak of the upcoming season seven part two, clips from past episodes and had a conversation about the show. That day, Caitriona was also seen wearing a red look while leaving the Live with Kelly and Mark studio after appearing on the talk show. In the upcoming second half of season seven, we find Claire, Jamie and Young Ian leaving the colonies and arriving in their beloved homeland: Scotland. The perils of the Revolutionary War force them to choose between standing by those they love and fighting for the land they have made their new home. Meanwhile, Roger and Brianna face new enemies across time, and must battle the forces that threaten to pull their family apart. As loyalties change and painful secrets come to light, Jamie and Claire’s marriage is tested like never before. With their love binding them over oceans and centuries, can the MacKenzies and Frasers find their way back to each other? Outlander returns on Friday, November 22nd at midnight on the Starz app, and later that night at 8pm ET/PT on the Starz network in the US. Just a few weeks ago, the cast wrapped filming on the eighth and final season of Outlander!
