PSG’s latest recruit, Willian Pacho, is among the top 5 most expensive defender transfers in Ligue 1.

Unsurprisingly, the

PSG and its powerful owner stick their noses in when it comes to money. In the ranking of the most expensive defender transfers in Ligue 1, the first eight were recruited by the Parisian club. William Pacho, which the general public is probably discovering, has made a good place for itself in this hierarchy.

The 22-year-old Ecuadorian central defender has moved from Eintracht Frankfurt to PSG for 40 million euros excluding bonuses, according to the Transfermarktthe site specializing, among other things, in transfers. Pacho ranks fifth behind the Brazilian Thiago Silva (42M in 2012).
