Kate Middleton has been busy with a new project as she continues her recovery from abdominal surgery, Kensington Palace revealed Thursday.

The Princess of Wales, 42, has been focused on her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood from her home in Windsor.

“The princess has been kept updated throughout the process,” a palace spokesman told the Telegraph.

Middleton’s initiative centers on the importance of early childhood development.

On Thursday, the campaign is due to present the findings from a study on the Alarm Distress Baby Scale (ADBB), which focuses on a baby’s social behaviors, that was conducted in two National Health Service trusts by the Institute of Health Visiting and the University of Oxford.

She personally suggested using the tool after meeting families who had benefited from the ADBB system during her 2022 trip to Denmark, so it is likely she will be wholly invested in hearing the results.

While Middleton has not been able to attend official events for the campaign as she recuperates from her Jan. 16 operation, she seems to be getting ready to get back on her feet.

The royal has been lying low in recent months and has not attended an official royal event since December 2023 when she and her family gathered for their Christmas Day church service.

Wild conspiracy theories have swirled amid Middleton’s absence from public-facing events despite her rep confirming to Page Six in February that she was “doing well” and would not return to work until after Easter.

Concerns heightened when the princess shared an edited image of herself with her three children, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, on UK Mother’s Day earlier this month.

In a rare move, Middleton issued an apology on social media after several photo agencies issued a “kill notice” on the “manipulated” portrait, leading to even more disarray.

However, she seemed to quell the gossip on her health and whereabouts when she and her husband, Prince William, stepped out together at a Windsor farm stand last Saturday.

Middleton appeared happy and healthy as she briskly walked beside the Prince of Wales, 41, with a smile while wearing athleisure.

Still, trolls continued to question the legitimacy of the video proof of her outing, with some even asserting that Middleton’s body double was actually in the clip.

Heidi Agan, who has professionally worked as a Middleton look-alike since 2012, denied she had imitated the princess in the now-viral video and stated that it was, indeed, the royal herself.

Amid all the controversy, royal insiders have weighed in on how the Waleses are dealing with the endless rumors.

“I know from the sources that I’ve spoken to that both William and Kate have been pretty shocked and genuinely surprised by the wild rumors that are circulating on the internet,” royal expert Katie Nicholl told “Entertainment Tonight.”

“I think there’s a sense of frustration, possibly even anger, certainly on William’s part.”

Unfounded rumors have ranged from Middleton having cosmetic surgery to being in a coma.

“I think that has made the Prince of Wales frustrated, upset and pretty angry as well,” Nicholl said.

The curiosity surrounding Middleton’s condition even spurred a security breach at the hospital where she underwent the unknown procedure after at least one staffer was caught trying to access her medical files.
