13 The Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) has invited 20 players for first phase training camp for D’Tigress in preparation for the Paris 2024 Olympic games.
This was dislcosed on D’Tigress’ X handle on Wednesday, 5 June 2024.
The invited players are expected to arrive Hotel De Bently, Utako Abuja, Nigeria on Friday 7th June, 2024 for the first phase of training for the summer games.
Players from Nigeria Customs, First Bank, Mountain of Fire and Dolphins made the 20-player list.
D’Tigress are in Group B alongside hosts France, Australia and Canada at the 2024 Olympic games.
They will open their campaign against Australia on 29 July.
Meanwhile, the team will play Germany and Puerto Rico in friendly games next month ahead of the Olympics games.
According to reports, D’Tigress will play Germany in the Berlin Basketball Festival on July 19.
Then on July 24 they will take on Puerto Rico in their second tuneup fixture.
